Welcome to My Rusty Prose. I am an ex Cancer patient trying to cope the best I can in the aftermath. The entire experience has left me rather hollow. With this blog I hope to get my ‘voice’ back then move forward with my life.

In July of 2011 I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, it had manifested itself as a tumor, eating into my left Humerus, which also happened to be my dominant arm. As a result my arm broke, leading to the diagnosis then leading into a painful and horrific period in my life. That was almost seven years ago and I’m glad to have that behind me.

I’ve set up this blog to help me write more, find my voice and polish up my prose. I might not go into detail about my Cancer story because it was so long ago, but I will be referencing it on occasion. Right now I will be looking to post about what’s happening to me in my post Cancer world.
